Bleacher Report has us taking Liuget in the 1st (passing on Danny Watkins who goes to the Steelers), and the C from TCU (Kirkpatrick) in the 2nd. This is with all the top-rated O-Linemen except Watkins off the board by 29.
Not sure how I'd feel about that. Liuget might be OK as a first year contributor but considering that only a serious injury will get Kreutz out of the lineup this season we could well wind up having our 2nd round pick not playing a down this year. Which really isn't acceptable. BTW Kirkpatrick is only the 9th best C in this class based on the site I checked.
If we're gonna go DT in the 1st then our 2nd rounder really has to be someone who can win one of the OG spots or the RT spot outright and thereby be a first year contributor.
That same Bleacher Report draft has the Colts taking Carimi in the 1st and the big Cannon kid from TCU in the 2nd... which pretty much kicks our ass right across the room.
