Length of Cutler contract is getting critiqued pretty hard by the media.

One thing it does is establishes beyond doubt that this team now belongs to Cutler.  Anyone who's not on board with him isn't gonna be on the Bears very much longer.

The media that are being hard on it are idiots for commenting without knowing the details. The length means nothing without knowing details. I am not saying it's good or bad until I see the details. I will say that I would prefer a cap friendly 7 year over a shorter term with a big cap hit. I guess we'll see then they release the details.
