 James Allen

He carried the team in rushing when who ever who we had in front of him went down.

Damned if I can remember any names from back in the dark days.

Can we get a Vince Wilfork ? Like we should have done over ten years ago ?

Rut-roh.  Just read a report that the Broncos are mulling over if they want Manning back.  Bears don't need to see that man with his old coach in Chicago back on the market. This whole thing could take a sharp turn to **** city if that happened.  Betcha he didn't delete fox's ph # from his phone favs. Betcha.

yeah, if we had Denver's defense, it might be fun for a year but we don't have Denver's defense.

He took one or two hits to his thigh that pretty much doomed their season - Jay takes that many hits every series

Brandon Marshall: No assurances from new Bears regime

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-brandon-marshall-future-20150211-story.html

I guess that's not a total shock since we havent heard a peep about Bear plans for this coming season.

And I suppose those that don't like Marshall and want him gone will find a ray of hope

There has been a strange anti-Marshal vibe from a lot of the local media guys. Best WR the Bears have had and they want to run him out of town ?

He must've really pissed in some sports-writers cornflakes or screwed their daughters or something.....

Just don't get where they are coming from.......

The new regime is playing things really close to the vest (and that's a good thing IMHO)......

Local media can't talk about deflated footballs and the Super Bowl goal line interception any longer so it's back to manufacturing Bears news until the draft.

http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/17936/not-buying-the-brandon-marshall-to-ravens-speculation?ex_cid=espnapi_public

The drama never ends. After a loss to the Dolphins this past season, Marshall's postgame theatrics in the locker room reportedly included calling out quarterback Jay Cutler and going after kicker Robbie Gould. A week later, Marshall walked off the field for a fourth-and-10 play while trailing the Patriots 45-7 and later responded, "That's wack, bro," when asked if he left because he was hurt, tired or frustrated. \

These are some of the reasons he may not be back.

Bucs cut McCown.  Huh.  Made some money, good for him.  Lovie's on the hot seat for sure if they get Winston and THAT blows up too.

McCown made a cool 5 million or so.  He will probably get another shot if he wants it.  If not he has some real nice seed money to start a business and live out the rest of his days happy.  Good for him.  He seems like a genuinely nice guy.

I'd be surprised if McCown didn't end up somewhere in a backup role. Funny how he seemed to click under Trestman... Hmmmmmm, Baltimore anyone?
