If Carter is there, you take him, there is NO WAY you pass on Carter if he falls. Massive position of need and a huge talent.

Agreed

I think Harper goes #1. I think there will be a bidding war at 2, to get Levis.

If the current draft order holds, I think Seahawks try and move ahead of the Panthers, to get their QB of choice after bryce. That means we could move down to 5 and gain some significant picks in return. There is also a chance, that the Panthers cough up a 2nd rounder and 2nd next year to move up one slot to make sure that the Seahawks cant.

Could pick up a 2nd rounder this year, to move down and still get Carter. That would be ideal. Can also stay at 2 and take Anderson, who might be the best defensive player in this draft. But i really like the idea of an extra 2nd. Can take WR and OL in the 2nd.

Young.  Harper just had TJS.

Bears can't win one game or they're in an entirely different range.  But even if they lose out Rams or Broncos pick could be before Bears.

But looking at the big picture. What would those teams need? QBs? That shouldnt impede the Bears. I would expect Houston to grab a QB. But I would really hope the Bears stay at #2

Detroit and/or Seattle could pick before the Bears.

Are the Lions happy with their Goff-led offense that they go after someone to pair with Hutchinson and bypass QB?  He's only 28.

And Seattle is getting very good production out of Geno Smith.  He's 32 but maybe they go d-line too.

I dont think Lions go QB, I think they are happy with Goff, read a stat recently that goff has thrown a completion to inside the 2 yard line 7 times this year, every time their RB ended up with the TD, so in a way he's been a bit unlucky.

So let’s say Carolina drafting 6 wants to move up for their quarterback.

Their 6th pick and DE Brian Burns (10 sacks) for ours.

We could then draft Carter if available or even trade back again.

Yeap, doable, would actually ask for more, due to the fact you then have to pay burns a massive contract. Would likely take an additional 2nd rounder this year, or their 1st next year. (with us sending a lower pick back)

Pick 2 is worth 2600 on the draft chart, 6th is worth 1600. the 16th is 1000.

their 2nd rounder this year would be worth 520 points. I would ask for their 1st and 2nd along with Burns for #2 and our 2nd next year.

Should say, that Panthers did turn down several offers for Burns, so unlikely they trade him.
