I think it's a given that WR scoring is thru the roof now...

No ****, and I had Torry Smith parked.  :o

 Who's Mike Evans?

BEARS DEFENSE got me 4 points this week as opposed to zero points last week.

I think it seems that way compared to what we are used to.  If you look at it as compared to other positions it has brought them up to equal with RB's.  It has boosted the importance of TE's as well.  The WR position was undervalued in the past.  You could have had the best WR in the past and if he wasn't catching TD he wasn't scoring significant points.  An average RB that got a ton of carries would outscore the best WR on a regular basis.

The stats so far this season certainly don't reflect that.

Of the top 30 scorers that aren't QB's...19 are WRs and 6 are TEs. Only 5 RBs in that top 30, and they are #10,11,14,18, and 25.

Well ok. In the future COUNT number of RUSHING ATTEMPTS by RB's?

That'll be a pisser after 3 attempts to break the One Yard Line by RB's.

PPR ... it could not only mean Receptions but Rushing attempts.

It's there to be played with.  ;)

Most leagues have moved on to PPR for receivers.

Keepin up with the times and also laying out a future plan.  :D

I thought Jackie was pulling my leg a few weeks ago.  I just went and checked.  I have Davante Adams as my flex position, but the last two games he is not showing in the score board and I have him starting again tonight and he is not showing on my starting roster.

How do I fix this?  It wouldn't have made a difference in the first two losses, but I have a shot this week.  It's like rolling a player out there every week and getting a zero.  Need help to fix this please.

Got it fixed.  I had to bench my flex player Adams and then put him back in the lineup.

Yes.  You have to make sure they are listed at the correct position in your lineup so they get points.  If you click on the flex designation it will give you an option to change it.

You should NEVER have a flex on the bench.  When you bench your flex change him back to the correct position so you can start a flex player.

What happened in this case was that after the draft, Adams was sitting in the flex position.  I added my starters at the WR position and left him there, never making a correction... didn't think I had to as he was showing on my starting lineup when I went to roster view.  When JJ pointed out to me I thought he was making a joke about starting 8 players because one of my players starting was Cutler.  It wasn't until this pas week, when I looked at head to head against the Flamingos, that I didn't see Adams playing.  So I benched him, and then put him back in the flex position and there he was.

Each year is a learning experience!

I have a claim from this weekend that appears stuck. I claimed Fred Jackson, putting Marshawn on IR. It says won't run until Wednesday. I made claim Fri or Sat. Game is tonight.

Can a commish please push that through?

We seriously need to revisit that in the off season. A lot of these injuries are day-of decisions. Not gonna make a difference in this game, but we should be able to make that more flexible.
