I was hoping to take home the Smurf cup this year, but I think j.r. is going to be really tough to beat.

Well, I am hunting for an ace to lead my staff, and theo did think a lot of him at one time to sign him to that contract and Cubs just won the world series so he can't be wrong.  Plus, arrietta came from the Orioles so they must be great at developing pitchers.

That does make it tempting.....

After thinking on the edwin jackson dilemna, i'd like to propose an alternative.   Dev, you were the guy to bring Jackson to the board's attention.  It would violate fantasy baseball's unwritten rules for me to pick him up when we all desire him.  Hence, i'll leave you the Kate Upton of the bbf sp free agents and send you someone for degrom.  That way you'll have an opening for a number 1 starter.   I'll also take Kimbrel off you hands if you'd like to pick up the Scarlett Johansson of relievers in Kevin Gregg for your bp.
