Wish there was a loophole in the rules where we could do that.  175 points for your #1 pick?

I see 191 for you...I thought our 15th place battle between you, Dave, and me would fight to the finish....

It would be awesome if at the end of year, the top 3 teams finish within 15 points of each other.

True.  Somebody got a save and someone else got a hit or two after I posted that.  Wow.  191.  Unfortunately, 4 of my 5 SP's went last night.

I have a question, was there a rule about September callups that allowed you to keep them in their minors if they were not playing?

I think it got shot down... but it is sometihng that is really needed... esp for teams in the hunt.

No, there is not.  If it's a sticky situation because you're one of the top teams, that's one way we distribute the wealth...by forcing you to make a tough decision.

You do have 7 days from the call up to do something.  As a result, you can try to trade or place on waivers.  Maybe one of your regulars gets hurt.  Remember after Sept 1, you only have to show that the player has a serious injury since teams are reluctant to DL with expanded rosters, to DL them for BBFL.

I'm hoping baseball does baseball things.

If nothing else, all I ask is at the end of the upcoming month let me spend a day in first. Would be sorta nice after always being in second or third behind you and grr.  In return, I'll get rid of all my impending free agents so as not to challenge you anymore.
Okay Ray, you are in first, so tank your free agents and get out of the way!

As I recall, I believe I said at the end of next month, not this one.  Easily understood mistake however.

12 points now separating 1st and 3rd place.

Just a friendly reminder that Lance Lynn and his 10-6 record and 3.14 ERA along with a 2.28 ERA since the ASB is on waivers for just a 4th round pick.  :)
