The Brats activate Alex Wood, Aaron Altherr, and Ryan McMahon and release Chad Kuhl, Jayson Werth, and Shin Soo Choo.

Actually I just saw where Adrian Beltre went on the DL, so I'll hang on to Shin Soo Choo.

Baseball players never go on strike when you really need them to.

Tyler Chatwood is back in the starting rotation.

Eightballs will drop Adam Conley and put Chatwood at SP.

Pick up Scott Alexander.

How long does a player need to be out before we can DL him? If we can show he has sat a few games and will sit the rest of the week? Or must it be longer? What about a starter? If the word comes down Jake Arrietta's start will be skipped, normally they would 10 day DL him, but in September there is no need. So once the announcement is made can I DL him? I'm trying to get a grip on this since, seemingly, half my team is on the DL or hurt.

By the way, here is an example, Matt Carpenter missed 2 games, tried to play and was pulled yesterday. He has been sent home from the Cardinal's road trip and will be out the rest of the week if not longer according to this article. Is that enough or do I need more proof?  Let me know, thanks. http://www.stltoday.com/sports/baseball/professional/cardinal-beat/carpenter-likely-to-miss-rest-of-road-trip-wong-definitely/article_1d5b5570-7775-5600-a436-c1294b177f49.html

Man I wish I did, but I live in a condo that's probably not going to have that kind of space.  Are you out in Miami?

Still need to have these moves done by the way.

I'm in Tampa. I think we are going to end up in Nashville. Marriot recidence allows pets... So we can bring the cats. Going to wait till Friday to pull trigger... If it's looking to go into gulf before turning north we are out of here.

Glad you managed to find a place.  Hotels on weekends in Nashville can be hard to come by at reasonable rates.  If you want to catch up for drinks or a bite to eat while you're out here, by the way, give me a shout.
