To make room for Hamels, Hornets drop Newcombe.

Grrr's 6th rounder goes to Dave, since I don't have my own any more.

DDK's activate Danny Duffy and Jacob Faria from the DL. Drop Skaggs and Pivetta to make room. Also, Tyler Anderson off the DL, release him. Moves made.

ok...thanks...that's what an appeal of the 'current rules' is all about...inferring from the environment.  10 days to go, not a scheduled starter, most here are Cubs fans, and know the rotation.   He hasn't made 5 starts at MLB level.  And based on Montgomery's last start...Tseng "aint" starting.  CBS has him listed as RP. Maybe they analyzed a little...
or put all Pitchers at RP...
Again, its the end of the year and the rosters are loosey goosey...Its not like I plan to have him at SS the whole season and illegally hoarding positions.

No biggie...my head is scrambled from last night's game anyways...Glass Onions will put Tseng at SP and drop Adalberto Mejia SP Twins.

Move made.

Padres' Jose Pirela: Done for season

19 hrs ago | by RotoWire Staff

Pirela has been shut down for the remainder of the season due to a sprained left pinkie finger, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
It appears the finger ailment that has kept Pirela out of the lineup since Sept. 12 will end his season prematurely. This isn't all too surprising, as the Padres are well out of playoff contention, so it doesnt make much sense for them to push Pirela to return for a few meaningless games. The 27-year-old compiled a respectable .288/.347/.490 line with 10 homers in 83 games following his callup at the beginning of June, and manager Andy Green said he's "front of the line" to be a starter next year for the Padres.

The Brats put Jose Pirela on the DL and sign Jesse Winker to replace.
