Here's a 3rd appeal:
Manager Terry Francona said Clevinger will pitch out of the bullpen for the remainder of the season, Zack Meisel of The Athletic Cleveland reports.

I would like to move Clevinger to RP, release Bryan Shaw, and sign Felix Hernandez for SP for tonight's game...

As a word to those making appeals based on SP's being demoted to RP, please realize there's a week to go in the season.  If we allow all these SP's to be listed as RP's, it will impact many team's keepers.

So I will bow out of the running thanks to the Mets. Activate Thor and release Hill.

Old Style signs Mike Montgomery to replace Hamels in the rotation. Move made.

I doubt if your team is out of it.

I think he's refering to Thor's 1 inning appearance yesterday. they let him throw all of 5 pitches.

Yes, and he appealed to the Circle for him to be an RP and we voted no.  We are aware that it's a cruel screw job.

Kind of like when one of your main guys gets a 7 game suspension and you are just out of luck. Now he has 2 bulging disks, will probably be out the rest of the season but for some unknown reason the Tigers want to hold out hope he'll DH even though he probably won't.

I was planning on using my remaining 4 waiver moves to buy 4 more starts from a SP.  But now I have to sit on someone that can't get a win, can't get a hold, and can't get a save.

Guess who HR'ed again tonight?

A grand slam, no less...and he also has a double and 6 RBI.

And that's thru 2 innings...
