Just wondering when you reject a trade at CBS and you enter something in the comment line, does anyone get to read it?  When my trades get rejected, I don't see anywhere where I can read whatever comments the other team might have left for me.  I'm just wondering if anyone else gets to read them.

I actually wish that function worked a lot better.  I hate just coldly rejecting trades and not sending any response, but what else are you supposed to do if there's no real way for people to read anything in the comment line?

The comment will come through on the email CBS sends you for the rejection. but there is no way to see that comment on CBS that i know of.

Dammit, I expected a nice classy response for my 8th rounder for Corey Knebel offer.  :'(

The reason you don't see a response is CBS rejects profane language.

See, that's one you can use profane language on and CBS will allow it.

Just remember though method, if you somehow were to accidentally hit "Accept" on such a trade, I'd still have to come on here and confirm it.

For the right deal, the Commissioner could put the trade through for him.

All Owners: need your vote.

In response to many requests to tighten up our rules regarding the DL and that some owners over the past seasons tend to abandon and not take care of their teams, the Circle is recommending this rule:

Owners have 7 days to move players who have been sent to minors or the DL by MLB or the players will be dumped into the pool.  Players who have been brought up from the minors or are off the DL will also be dumped in the pool after 7 days.  Day 1 is the first day that CBS alerts the owner that a change has taken place.  Day 7 deadline is midnight Central time.  The same 48 hour window for others to pick up a dumped player applies.  Owners may reclaim their players during that 48 hour window at a cost of a waiver.  The 48 hour window starts from when the player is sent to the pool.

Aye: Curt, Dave, 82, Chiman, Boris]

Would teams losing the player automatically get them back if they use the waiver?  They get first precedence over every other team during the 48 hour window?

Yes.  We put this in as the final effort to be fair to the original owner, so, in a sense, he has 9 days.  If he hasn't recovered by then, he deserves to lose them.
