A fourth of our owners aren't Cub fans.  How would we compensate the guys who own Goldsxhmidt and Mikalous and Flaherty?
Mikalous is trash. Goldy wasn’t great last season either. Flaherty and Hudson would be missed. Figure out comp picks for owners losing the Cardinals who are keeper-worthy.

Actually having some kind of grandfather rule for Cardinals keepers might not be a horrible idea.  I mean if you had a player get traded midseason to the Cardinals, would you have to drop them right away?  Or if you had a star long term keeper get traded to the Cardinals (e.g. Jose Altuve since the Cardinals aren't beyond trading for cheaters), that'd kind of suck if you had to drop them right away or drop them immediately after the season.

Maybe having a one year grandfather rule (or be allowed to keep someone indefinitely) if you have a Cardinal keeper or a player traded to the Cardinals might be a good idea to help with the transition, although I guess it would take away from having a Cardinal stench-free fantasy league.
Anyone traded to StL must be dropped immediately. Tough break. F them and their team and their moron fans.

Anyone traded from StL goes on the waiver wire. Tell me that doesn’t make the waiver wire much more interesting...

I'm looking to trade Hoerner before the keeper deadline. I've been looking for a good starting pitcher, but also could take a high draft pick or similarly ranked minor leaguer.

I also still have some relatively cheap saves (Melancon, Kennedy) and other guys worth rostering (Eaton, Canha, Foltynewicz) available for mid-round upgrades.

Guys, if I don't hear anything from Grrrr by Friday, we will look to transfer his team to someone else.  If no one has been named owner by March 2, the Circle will implement its contraction plan.   If you know of anyone, on the board or otherwise, who would like a team, please email his name and email address to me by March 1.  Deadline for all keepers, major and minor leaguers, are due March 1, midnight cst.

What's the draft order again?  I was trying to find the post with the draft lottery results, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I might be interested.  I retired from fantasy football this year.  Perhaps it is time to do a baseball league.  If you need another send the info and I will consider.  Assuming I would be taking over a crap franchise.

DDK's Fire Sale....

Justin Turner and a 10th for a 6th
Kevin Newman and an 11th for a 8th

For those building Brendan Rodgers and a 12th for a 5th
