How do waiver claims work now? If JR wanted to claim Pujols, would he just add him on Fantrax and announce it to the board when the claim goes through in a couple of days? Or do we still need to email Boris to make the claim?

You make the claim on Fantrax and announce it when it goes through.

The 2 days I believe will start from when they are waived or added to the roster.

When you go to Players, the + sign should be yellow on players already claimed.  You can still claim him, but Fantrax will give him to the highest on the waiver wire.

Players that are waivers have gold add button vs a green on Fantrax. To prevent adds of injured players I have but them on waivers for an extended period of time. They can’t be added to the team your team so don’t bother with a claim.  Curt told me this is the JR rule.

I see a player that is gold...but it is a player that could have been drafted...why does that player have to go thru waivers?...and the player is not on the IL

Glass Onions place Jon Gray on the IL and claim Nestor Cortes SP NYY...  what is the order to do this?  I selected Cortes, and Fantrax wants me to release someone...so I cancel and I put Gray on the IL, I hit submit and Fantrax tells me my roster is illegal with 24 players.

I changed a setting so you should be able to IL Cortes and then pick up Gray.

After the draft I removed minor league players.  That player was most likely optioned to the minors and then recalled which would make him waiver wire eligible.  If that doesn't apply send me the players name and I'll look at it.

Ok I was able to move Gray to IL and it accepted that.   I then went out and selected Cortes (green dot) and it asked me if I wanted to claim or drop/move...so i did drop/move, and it is asking me who to drop, even though I have an open P spot.   "Please pick a player to drop"

Submit it. It will move your waiver claim down and then I have to go in and adjust it.

I did the move.  The other issue is after the rosters lock you have to move the date to the next day for the move to go through.

Shirtballs will put Edwin Diaz on the bereavement list, pick up Tony Santillan.

Shirtballs also send Lucas Giolito to the IL and pick up Carlos Hernandez.

OK thanks...I will try changing the date "IF" another player ends up on the IL.
