Wait... no. Its MLB transactions and we have followed that for decades now. So why is just announcing ok. The MLB team has not made the move. This allows for a team to get a replacement faster then they should, which affects scoring.....

If we are changing this now, can I just drop a shitty player on my team because they announced a minor leaguer will get called up, and not take negative points for that player?

The spirit of the league was to effectuate the moves of MLB teams from contracts, to roster moves. This is not in the spirit of the MLB, they have discretion on when to make a move, and a team owner should follow the desires of their players team.

I thought we decided to get rid of the posting here requirement when we moved to Fantrax.  I can't keep up with the rules vs. proposed rules.  Which move did I make that was illegal?  I'm not questioning it.  I am trying to learn what I did wrong to avoid doing it again.

So if we read that someone is going on the 15 day DL but the team hasn't made the move yet (no clue where I would look to confirm that the move was made) then we can't make a subsequent move until it is official?

Moving forward I'll post my moves and ask for permission on injuries here to avoid further circumvention of the spirit of the league.

No, we never said not to post here.  The illegal move was moving a player to the DL and picking up another player.  If you click on the little red flag, it will tell you if it's day to day or 10 or 15 or 60 DL.  No biggie.  All's well.  No attorneys need to be consulted.

Wrong time to make a rules suggestion but if the goal is to somewhat mirror professional baseball and knowing we can’t pick up a new player if an injury is day to day…..why not have bench players?

Teams don’t play with 7 or 8 players if someone is hurt and is day to day. They go to their bench and fill the lineup card.

Of course I recognize that most of the players currently available are pretty limited, but it would still be better than not having a player at all.

Each team could roster a C, MI, CI, OF, SP and RP to place on their bench and rotate as they see fit for injuries and days off.

Probably best to table this for the off season but food for thought.

Glass Onions place Micheal Harris on the IL and pick up Jose Siri OF TB...also Jhony Brito is being recalled by the NYY's, Brito is called up and Domingo German is released...again...my transactions caused me to lose a waiver...at this point it should be reset to 14...currentlky at 12..and looks to be challenging JRs smurf chalice.

I’m currently trying to put Francisco Alvarez at catcher but right now it says he’s a UT only, is there any way I can be able to move him catcher?

I gave him positional eligibility at catcher.  If you post the move I can back date it to today.

Unless you want to reset the waivers numbers daily for every team every day please stop complaining about this.  I will usually try and sue this once a week on Sunday.

Did the waiver claim order get set backwards to start the season? Isn't it supposed to be in reverse order of last year's standings? I made a waiver claim earlier this week, so I'm last. But the rest of it looks like it's in the order of last year's standings.
