I think Leno is serviceable but definitely could be upgraded.  Massie definitely could be upgraded.  Sitton is old and injuries are creeping up.  Who knows if he will ever be the same again.  Ditto for Long.  I dont see any probowlers at any position on our OL.  Maybe Whitehair IF he can get it together and not be moved around.

Interesting that Leno was just brought up, Big Cat Williams was just on the Score doing an interview and discussing the offensive line.

He just said about Leno, that he is a serviceable left tackle with upside.  He has good feet, and good punch, and he is young.  He still has room to grow in his position, and he thought Leno was a sound player.

Unless the next Joe Thomas drops in our laps on draft day, we have plenty of other holes to fill on the roster.

Again, we arent privy to information as to the health of Sitton or Long. And I suggested a good young OT candidate to groom as a swing tackle.

Offensive line needs to be addressed one way or another. Receiver is another area. I would pin zero hopes on White. If we get something out of him then great..

IMHO White is a bust. Just too brittle for the NFL

Its not looking good for White for sure, but there is not much cost in bringing him back again for next year.

He did play in 23 games at West Virginia before getting drafted by the Bears and had 144 receptions in those 2 years.  Its not like he had durability issues coming into the pros.

Not sure why Bears brought Demps back and not White.  Aaron Rodgers came back in about 2 months from his shoulder injury.

There are a number of NFL players that missed there first two years with injuries then had healthy careers after that.

No reason not to give White a shot in camp.

In college players play against players their own age. When they get to the pros they are playing against men much more stronger. Its just different.

Well, off to a great start, NOT.  Spot them a TD after a stupid penalty call.  If Goldman hadn’t acted guilty, it looked from the camera view like his head was up on that tackle.

The John Fox era can’t end soon enough for me.  That being said, what’s your confidence level that they will hire the right people to replace the mess they have now?

Trubisky is clearly talented.  They need to surround him with top quality coaches.  Invest in him.  The HC calling (offensive) plays, with a history of developing QBs.  The OC and QB coaches to be top talent.  The Rams offensive staff has thee ex QBs and they have taken a guy who last year looked like he didn’t belong in the league and turned him into an MVP candidate.  A good start would be the guy from Minnie who has done so much with so little at QB.

Vikings dont need any help today from the refs, but they are getting it.  The contact that drew the PI on Inman was almost nonexistent.

Slick play to get Callahan running free for the return TD.
