Everybody kept waiting for the Deadskins to just cut Fat Albert too. It never happened till the season was over. A team in need of a QB can not just wait till the end of the year for the Deadskins to just cut him.
Talk around DC is just to keep him if you can't get what you want for him. He makes a great option if Rex gets hurt or flat out sucks. Which we all know both are highly possible. So do the Deadskins fans.
