Ummm...  yeah.  OK.

Looks like something a big-azz flesh-eating alien would hatch out of.

But it's something the artsy types up there would dig I guess.  And at least it's not another aircraft hanger like those boxes in Indy and Houston.

It's not exactly...  masculine.  Is it?

kinda looks like an "artistic" representation of snow drifts or ski moguls.  :o

The more I look at it the more I kind of like it. Not nearly as ugly as Soldier field.

My thought is that with all that exposed glass, it is going to be ridiculously expensive to heat and cool.

How are they gonna keep the snow drifts off of it?

I assume the slopes are to get the snows off and not have a repeat of the roof collapse. With all that windowspace I'll betcha she'll really heat up on sunny days.  How much for this monster?

They can rent out the snow-covered roof for skiing parties in the winter.

Extra revenue stream.

I LIKE it!  The really good one's would make the interstate into oncoming traffic. cool!  Only open that slope between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Nobody gives a damn about getting to work on time, but everyone would kill to get out of work.

Here's some other drawings from the winning designer complete with the Jerrytron.

What will be interesting is how they'll try to cram Queens fans into a 40,000 seat college stadium for 2 years during construction.

Can't they just build it somewhere other than the site of the Metrodome?
