Here's some other drawings from the winning designer complete with the Jerrytron.

What will be interesting is how they'll try to cram Queens fans into a 40,000 seat college stadium for 2 years during construction.

Looks nice inside.

VERY cool....I'm jealous with the spaceship crap the Bears have, even though it is a decent stadium. Just not nearly as cool as theirs....

Yeah those late season games could get interesting especially.  That will be another outdoor game for the Bears those two years.

I wonder if the schedulers would make them road warriors in December?

I've heard that's the plan.  They will try to work the schedule so as to have the Vikings play as few late-season contests at TCF as possible.

Kind of a two-edged sword though especially if they're in position to make a late playoff push but wind up having to play a lot of those games on the road.  And honestly, I don't see why the Vikings should get any more help avoiding cold weather games than teams like the Packers, Bears, Steelers, Pats or Bills get.  For those 2 years they are going to be an "outdoor" team whether they like it or not.

At least TCF Stadium has Field Turf so you won't have those horrific playing surfaces we've seen at Soldier Field or Heinz Field late in the year (or FedEx Field last Sunday).

Well one way is to take a home game away from the Vikes.  They'll play the Steelers in London this year.

Been to a few of the really nice new stadiums out there. The one in Denver is real nice as is the Colts stadium. I'll go see a Vikes/whoever game in that new stadium sometime when we go up to visit Mall of America. That would be fun....

The Lions are cleaning house.

WR Titus Young was let go yesterday, and OG Peterman and DE Vanden Bosch cut today.

So what happens if we get bad news about Louis? Do the Bears look at Peterman?

Peterman is really bad, especially in pass pro.

Lions fans aren't sad to see him go at all.

We would definitely be wise to cover our butts regarding Lance Louis, but he's not the guy to do it with IMO.

I have a feeling the Lions GM will be doing handsprings to the podium if Barrett Jones falls to their 2nd round pick.

A versatile interior O-Lineman who's smart, coachable and has impeccable character.  They need some of those guys in Detroit desperately to get that culture turned around.
