Been seeing on various sports outlets that among coaching jobs that Lovie can slide into is the Lions HC...his first presser would include the vow to beat the Chicago Bears twice a season...lol

Lovie coaching the Lions isn't a laughing matter.  If he got that D of theirs playing smart and brought in a halfway capable OC the Lions would be a handful.

If I were Lovie Dovie, I'd "slide" into the Bucs job instead. The Loins job is a coach killer. He'd be gone much sooner with them. They just don't have it together up there....even WITH all that talent and no injuries, couldn't get the job done....

I don't think there's an ounce of emotion in any coaches past doing better than the guy across the field and thier own staff members. I really don't.There's too much money involved anymore, your not going to see a Ditka/Forrest Greg situation, IMO. I made the mistake of going back and watching
that game again.  Urlacher has to be laughing his butt off.  Past him, nobody knew where everyone was supposed to be ALL YEAR.  The Bears may have used the same system, but the interpeter was gone. They used 90%, ignoring the most important part and paying for it. We've all been there. The person that you wondered about why the hell they were there leaves, and you find out the hard way why they were there. Oh, and no manual of course. Briggs ain't gonna be all that, in the nfl, you loose a whisper of a step, your gone. Bears got screwed, but one or two more wins during the season it wouldn't have mattered. Tucker ain't all that either. Its like a car. Everything is fine until it breaks. You have to fix it. He didn't fixed it at all. I don't think he has a "system".  He just goes along with what was there. He really needs to go.

I can't see Lovie turning down Tampa where he owns a home and has a history to got to....Detroit.

I think we can do better than Tucker but it wont break my heart if he stays. I like your car analogy but if you are going to fix that car you need parts. Our bench wasn't exactly Autozone.

If Lovie goes to Tampa with Angelo and whats his face, man I feel sorry for him.  Even if he brings in an O guru.
