Looking at the 2013 stats - Peppers had 3 zero tackle games and 6  one tackle games.

Incredible!

 Thats our EX-Peppers !

Peppers was terrible last season. Darned near invisible. We've upgraded without a doubt....

I think that a lot of that had to do with his mental attitude.

I think your responses are all reasonable - as usual.

The Bears are gradually strengthening their team.   Love it!  I think that Peppers' big goal is that SB.  It's his motivation.

Maybe.  Could be his age.   Could be injury related.

Could be all three.

Peppers was capable of having big games, but he was also known for taking games off. Situational pass rusher, OK, but not a starter, not anymore..

I think Peppers problem last year was motivation. It was either contract, the new/different coaching staff, or DL teammates. But whatever the reason he didn't play at the level he was expected to play

Bears were in playoff contention the entire season - if he can't get motivated for that...

After-all the guy is 34.

Personally I think it was contract/Lovie related

Peppers is somewhat of a mystery.  He did not play like a star last year.  We will soon know whether it's age or motivation or what.

He will almost certainly have fewer starts this year and play various positions to maximize his opportunities to succeed.

 Packy,

Heres the question that has to be asked ...

you got Peppers ... we got Jared Allen ...

That is not a fair question.  You   had  Peppers and we had Matthews.   Now, you have Allen and we  have Peppers AND Matthews.  I will take Matthews AND Peppers over Allen.  You must subtract Peppers from your aces.

Jared Abbrederis
AP

It looks like Packers wide receiver Jared Abbrederis is going to spend his rookie season on injured reserve.

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Packers believe Abbrederis tore his ACL during practice on Thursday. Abbrederis was headed for more tests on Friday and coach Mike McCarthy wouldn’t confirm anything about the severity of the injury when he met the media.

Damn.  It seems every year we lose a promising rookie for the season.
