Yea, the Saints exposed us.....for being a very good team.

Just what do you think they are going to expose the bears for in week 2?

Man, I don't think the Bears can beat the Pack or the Saints.

Packs win was impressive on O and terrible on D. When you score 42 points and need the last play of the game to decide the game, that's not a good deal.

Not sure if it was Kreutz, but did you guys check the NO center getting stood up and knocked back 5 yards on the last play (when the Saints tried to run up the middle from the one yard line...)

The Packers looked wicked good last night. Best offense in the league, no question.

The Saints offense is much better than ours so I wouldn't read too much into Green Bay's defensive showing. The Saints are gonna hang a lot of points on a lot of people.  We see that GB's D can be exploited by a great air attack...  but whether the Bears have even a competent passing game is highly debatable.  Not to mention, by the time we face the Pack you can be sure Dom Capers will have a lot of the kinks ironed out of their D.

Noticed the Kreutz matador play a few times as well. He really is at the end of his run and I'm glad we got rid of him when we did.

I agree Bill. I dont believe our defense can stop Rodgers, Ryan or Brees.

Whoever called that play for the Saints needs to be taken to task.  Did they not watch any footage of Kreutz from the last several seasons?  Kreutz is not going to win a 1-on-1 power match with a 330-lb NT.  It just won't happen. Off-tackle or between the T and their All Pro OG Evans would have been the much better call.

I  thought that blow me down play looked familiar. Football just flies through the air in the dairy state in Sept doesn't it? Nice neat and tidy spirals and all.  Wonder if that will hold true in Dec./Jan. with a 30 mph wind coming off the bay, bringing the smells from the paper mill with it.

I don't think the Saints could have called a worse play at the end of the game.  Their offense is not predicated on power football, to try and run it in against Raji and Pickett was asinine.  Although, watching that play on replay it would have made sense to run a naked boot - wide open, or have the TE Graham waggle out of his end block and run to the left sideline.  Both of those options would have worked.
