Looks like the Vikes are staying in Minny and the NFC North will remain intact.  Good for everyone AFAIC.

I guess you're right but I really was hoping they would move.  That would allow the Rams to move to the NFC North in it's place and I can see the Bears in St. Louis yearly.

It's all good though.

Pass on the wussie indoor rams...

If the NFC Nort ever expanded I would take the outdoor KC Chiefs.

I am glad the Vikings got it done.  The original 4 are still together.  They all rise and fall (well except the Lions), but is a great division to be a part of.  The NFC Central, how the Bucs ever got in there, lol...  But it did afford me to see the beloved in Tampa many times

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know how many times each team in the North won the division in the past 50 years?  I'd have to think the Lions are under 6 times

So I was correct, being a Lion fan is not good.  3 division crowns in 45 years.  The Bucs won it twice, and left the division over 10 years ago, and entered it over 15 years after the original 4.  Props to the Vikes for their 18...  I hated Fran Tarkenton!

Let's not forget how many times Detriot has made the SB...

Replace them with Cleveland.

Whoops, same thing.

Loved Bud Grant.  He was a guy with his head on straight and priorities in proper line.

The Minnesota Vikings new stadium will be talked in the same breath as the cowpokes stadium when it opens.   A 70,000+seat stadium with a retractable roof.  Super Bowl and Final fours will be played there.

Minnesota will have the most pro, college stadiums and arenas' per capita in the world.

The retractable roof would be great, but understand that it isn't a slam dunk yet.  To see the Bears at Lambeau and at the new Viking stadium is on the Grizz bucket list.  Ford Field looks cool, but I don't really need to go.

My best memory of seeing the Bears / Lions in person, was the game where they trailed 17-0 entering the 4th quarter at the Silverdome, Vince Evans rallys them for 17, and David Williams returns the opening kickoff  of overtime for a touchdown.  Priceless...  I was there

I doubt that it'll be near the size of Cowboy stadium. That place is ridiculous. But if true, it sounds like it'll be a nice stadium and Minny has to have Vikings there.....just wouldn't be the same place without em....

I remember that game...although I don't remember anything that happened during regulation...just the KO return.   At the time it and for quite a while after it was the shortest OT.   Does anyone know if the record was broken?
