Been using XP since 2001...NEVER A BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH...EVER!

Internet Explorer 6 worked bulletproof...DL'd IE8 and the fun began...

lost two years worth of e-mails.  ???

Packy you have convinced me to steer clear of Win 7.

We are all on the same page as XP users except you.

Was forced to Windows 7  for work when they upgraded all the laptops. Don't like it...spend a lot of time talking to the help desk about problems

the only problem I have ever had with Win7 is that my old MFP printers didn't have software available for Win7. You can print but the scanner didn't work.

A few weeks later I was able to dl the newer software.

I see the Bears winning this division this season.

Our defense can handle the Packed's offense but with us upgrading the line with Cirimi I feel pretty good going into the season so far.

I don't know about handling the Packer's offense but the Bears defense played the Packers about as well as any other NFL team.

Obviously, you'd like to see Paea be productive but Melton is the guy that really needs to establish himself now that Harris is gone.  And they really need a 3rd DE work into the rotation as Peppers and Idonijie faded over the last month.  Is Corey Wooten that guy?

Tim Jennings came out of nowhere and was really solid all year, but he struggled in games against the Pack.  Bowman has the athletic ability to play the LCB, but can he do the dirty work and take the job from Jennings?

I'd like to see what Joshua Moore can do too - hopefully he's been working on that anemic bench press.

Bowman didn't impress last season at all.

As for you not knowing about the  Bears handling the Packed offense check out last season.  If I recall they scored 17, 10, and 14 points against the Bears last season and playoffs.

I think they did a very good job of "handling" the Packed offensively last season.

Too bad our O-line could not handle their exotic blitz packages.  We need to get our O-line fixed.  We have the correct OL coach imo.  Now Angelo needs to get him the talent.  Carimi was a great start.  I think we need a center or guard in free agency yet.  Possibly both.

Bowman had an impressive 6 picks in 2009 and was moved to the LCB.  I can't say that I noticed him struggling in his first 3 starts (all Bears wins BTW), but the coached noticed something that got him benched in favor of Jennings.  I think the Bears' coaches wanted more effort at tackling.

He's got prototype CB size and speed - hopefully he can put it together and win the job in 2011 and improve on the interception totals at LCB (Jennings had 1 in 2010).

As for the Bears handling of the Pack in their 3 games.  Yeah, the Pack didn't put up huge ppoint totals in the 3 games  but they still moved the ball and dominated the time of possession for the most part.   Any time you give up more points than your opponent there is room for improvement particularly with our pass defense.

And the Packers will be making upgrades on their offense in the offseason so they could be tougher.

But we both know the real problems with the Bears is with the offense not the defense.

Nice to see your confidence at such a high level.  And thats even assuming we have a season this year. I suppose that since your confidnece level is so high you will be wagering, taking on all comers?

Until we solve the Packed's pass D we're not going very far against them.  That means pass protection #1 and overcoming their physical D-Backfield #2.

Our defense can handle the Packed's offense but.

Maybe so but Finley and Starks should be playing the entire season this year.

Just for kicks keep an eye on Cobb at WR/KR and D.J. Williams at TE.  These guys could surprise.

I concur that the Bears played GB extremely well on defense last season.

No they didnt...they LOST when it counted most.

 G.B. revamped their defense...Raji...Clay Matthews.

BEARRSSE fans have to hope Paea comes thru.

Then theres that dreaded third round pick...

more bust then bountiful in the past...

 when Angelo goes insane...............

Los Angeles Vikings? It's in the air

A Los Angeles-based group has interest in the Vikings, but a team executive said Friday the organization remains "100 percent committed to getting a stadium deal done in Minnesota."  The subject of the Vikings heading west if they don't get public help to build a stadium isn't new, and came up again after Anschutz Entertainment Group President Tim Leiweke told the Orange County Register on Thursday that the Vikings were one of five NFL franchises with which he has spoken.  Leiweke added that billionaire Philip Anschutz is prepared to acquire majority ownership in a team in order to bring it to Farmers Field, the $1 billion downtown Los Angeles stadium proposed by AEG.

"I think it's pretty much where it has been," Vikings Vice President Lester Bagley said of the team's stadium situation. "While it's true we have been approached by [Los Angeles area] stadium groups AEG and [Ed] Roski in the past, we think we're in a position to get our issue resolved during the special session in Minnesota."
