To be fair, Montero crushed that ball.  A couple feet to the right, and it's a RISP hit...but Ross probably doesn't score because the ball gets to Jay too fast.

Can't hit the ball much harder than Montero and La Stella did that inning, and the Cubs are still hitless with RISP.  Almost makes you think curses are real.

I really, really don't understand the hate Ross has gotten.  He's obviously a good defensive catcher.  He's been a strong backup for a decade.  And he had a really good spring.  Are Cubs fans really *that* attached to Welington Castillo that they can't give Ross a chance?

Not really fair to complain about failure to get hits with RISP when the hitters hit the ball hard.  Obviously that hasn't been true in every instance though.
