Just got seats for NLDS game 3 at AT&T.  Hope there's a game!

I will be at Game 1 of the NLDS this Friday. And assuming the Cubs make it to the NLCS, I'll be at Game 2, Sunday, Oct 16.  If the Cubs make it to the World Series, I expect I'll have to watch on TV.  But that would be A-OK by me.

How hard are tickets to get out there Play?  Is it too late?  Me and a buddy are thinking about driving over from Utah.

Robb, there a lot of tickets available on Stubhub.  I paid $550 (plus juice) for 9th row box seats.

In 89 I sold one Standing Room Only seat to the 2nd game of the playoffs for $200 minutes before the game, which fully paid for that ticket and the other three I bought from the Cub's phone in ticket sales (one for me, one for my dad, and one for his uncle who took me to my 3rd Cub game, the game after Holtzman's 1969 no-hitter).  Adjust for inflation, the fact that a 9th row box is a wildly better seat than an SRO ticket, and the fact that the ticket this year is to a game the Cubs have a much better chance of winning, and $550 is not a bad deal.

There are good upper level seats available for $350 or so, and I love the view of the Bay from there during day games, but I think closer to the field is better for a night game.

I could see paying a few hundred for a playoff ticket.

I've paid 200 a piece for UT/Florida tickets when UT wasn't even that good.

The drive from Utah is what amazed me.

I live in St. George so from here to LA is only 6 hours.  San Fran is more but not bad.
