Baez makes outstanding tags so often that they are starting to go without remark by fans.

They just showed the replay, and I just realized that yes, I am taking those for granted.

Butler's velocity isn't as high here in his 5th inning.  But back in is 2nd or 3rd inning, I saw a 96.5 and about four other 4-seamers that were in the 94+ range.

Wonder if letting it rip in relief won't be really good for him.

Cubs fail to score with runners the bases loaded and 1 out.  Heyward hit the ball well, but it went for a 3-2 DP.

Heyward hit it right on the button but lines into a DP.  Tough break.

Yeah, good contact by J-Hey, but it would have been nice for him to put it in the air.

Also, Caratini ran into the out. With the ball on the ground towards first, he could have waited to see if it gets by 1B.

Tremendous outing by Butler. Wow.

Bases were loaded so once the other runners went Caratini almost had to go home or the other runner had to go back after the force out at first.

Wonder who hits now to led off the inning.  Butler hits for himself.  I can't imagine he will go another inning though.

Butler's been the player of the game so far for the Cubs.

Butler knows he's out of this game if he scores, right?
