Cubs lose.  Well deserved.

Except for Butler.  Really tough L for him.

The Marlins bullpen pitched 13 scoreless innings tonight. This from a team that is trying to tank. Pressure is all on the Cubs now to win the next 2. Have to win this series. Not for the standings, but for the good vibes you want at the start of the season.

Happ 6K/9AB.
Zobrist making good contact.  He's been one of the Q's:  were his bad numbers last year age, and he'll be as bad or maybe worse?  Or were they health-related and reversible.  If he could be able to give professional AB's and hit the ball hard regularly, that could help.

Bryant has looked really locked in.

But 18K game, it is what it is.

Cubs lead the majors in K’s with 30, but they are 9th in the majors in K%.

Zobrist looks like the wrist might have been a big issue for him last year, I’m not sure how he’ll hold up but giving him playing time in RF and leading off could be a nice jump start.

They've basically played three games' worth of at bats, so I'm not bothered.

Work is overrated. I had to leave Memphis at 4 to be in Springfield for a 10AM first pitch...
