Javy makes up for his error with a home run to straight away center, 4-0 Cubs.

Statcast said that there was a 79% catch probability on that ball. I think Statcast is very wrong on that one.

Cubs pick off Desmond, but he reaches second when Rizzo's throw is too high. This team has been very inconsistent on defense so far this year.

Bryant has a cut from his sunglasses but passed all concussion tests. So hopefully he won't be out long.

Almora robs another RBI hit after Rizzo's bad throw. Quintana's defense has made him throw 10 extra pitches already today, but Almora has saved two runs.

Bases loaded for Heyward.

Chances for something other than a popup or grounder to 2nd?

Almora is starting to show why scouts have been saying for years that he is a Gold Glove caliber center fielder.

I’m no Heyward apologist, but his numbers with runners on/RISP are actually quite good this year.

I can think of almost none. His homers came with the team up 6-0 in the 5th and 6-0 in the 9th. He had that 2-run single off Rivera of Pittsburgh down 5 runs in the 8th.

Well, of course you don’t remeber a Cub doing something positive.

Before today’s game, Heyward had a .452 OBP with men on, and a .421 OBP with RISP. Whether in their blowouts or low scoring games, Heyward is knocking guys in and keeping the line moving this year.

Quintana's been in trouble every inning. And would've been far more trouble without Almora.

Stupid comment based on nothing.

Feel free to let me know of all the big hits he's had though.
