The play at first Rizzo slid of the bag on a glove toss from Quintana. It was a bang bang play.

Bryant made an aggressive play on a bunt and the runner was safe at second. Of all the plays that didn’t bother me.

Baez booted a double play ball and got an out at second. That seemed to be the only play that was sloppy to me.

I didn’t get the sense that Freeman’s line drive was ever in danger of not getting caught.

Rizzo had the ball a step or two before the runner got there--the ball clearly beat the runner by plenty. Rizzo just missed stepping on the bag. That's sloppy. (Rizzo was charged with an error)

Baez had to reach far to his left and jump off second base to keep Bryant's throw from going into right center field. Bryant's throw was sloppy.

Baez's booted double play ball was sloppy.

You're right, Freeman's ball wasn't in danger of being not caught, but Almora initially went back too far by a couple of steps. I'm being picky on this one...it's something that I wouldn't have noticed if not for the other three sloppy plays in the inning.

Now Rizzo picked off second base. Sloppy.

Should Rizzo have made the play. Yes. The ball wasn’t there when Rizzo got to the bag. It was a tougher play than what you are making it out to be.

Even a perfect throw from Bryant would have taken an amazing tag from Baez. It was an aggressive play so I give players more room for error. The mistake was going to second.

I mean if we are going to nit pick every time an OF goes back on a line drive this board is going to get clunky.

The only play I would call sloppy was Baez.

Quintana looks horrible this year. How about they only start him against the Brewers from now on?

The bats are dead again.  3 hits all day yesterday, 5 hits through 6 1/3 innings today.

It's so obvious how much more prepared Len Kasper is when you listen to Braves games. A couple times in this game, they've started discussing Heyward's concussion and speculating on how it might have happened. There is zero chance Len would go into a game without knowing how an everyday player on the other team got injured.

How many W's have we had this year after trailing late?  Probably forgetting some, but I can't remember any.  Have we had a walk-off yet?
