I kinda of was all about letting Fields sit and learn.  However certain people are mature beyond their age.  I believe Justin Fields maybe one of these people.  The offense is night and day different.  Why?  I think Nagy is a shitty play caller personally.  He needs a dynamic QB to make his play calling successful.  A good head coach adjust to his players.  However I do not think we have the luxury of a good head coach/play caller.  I personally hope we start the season with Fields.  They way I see it he is our only hope for making Nagy's offense work. 

Wonder if Mitch will come out and play well the Trubisky Bowl today.....

1. No real pressure on him- he's backing up a good QB.
2. Preseason is generally vanilla D with little disguising.
3. Nice guy that Mitch seems to be, you can almost get the sense that he wants to prove something to the Bears (his comments last week notwithstanding).

On most other days I'd wish him good luck and godspeed, but today... I don't

I kind of expect a Cedric Benson-esque performance today by Mitchel....

(If you get that reference then you've been a Bear fan far too long like I).....

You guy watch the QB but I'll be watching our tackles.

Defensively, I'll be keeping an eye on Toga, Gipson and Snowden and whoever plays nickel.

First quarter observations:

Mitch looks like an NFL QB when his coach calls plays that work with what Mitch can actually do. 

If Roquan isnt out there, we dont have a player with plus speed for their position in the back 7.

Once again our first team on both sides of the ball suck ass!

Our D is making Trubisky look like a HOFer.
