I rewatched the Fenter inning. I kinda liked his delivery.
Fastball looked fine but not special, as AzPhil's readings suggest, he was the same as everybody else, and less than Maples/Wilson/Alzolay yesterday. Looked like he might be able to locate his fastball.
The scouting of course was that he has a good curve. As happens with lots of curveballers, if you live on the curve but can't locate the curve, as was true yesterday, things won't look that great. Still, his first outing and probably some nerves, so not that rare for a curveballer to be off on his first game of camp.
I'm guessing he's not special enough to go out of your way to give him a roster spot, but I'd like to keep him if possible. But probably will need some kind of deal with Baltimore to make that work.
