Since there is no minor league camp, are those reassigned going home, or are they hanging around to be used?

I believe they are staying.  Some of the available pitchers for today's game are those that were reassigned yesterday.

Maples has gotten hit some this spring, but, in 4-1/3 innings pitched, he has six strikeouts and no walks.

I really hope Steele pitches.  Never seen him.

Wieck looked pretty good for his one inning of work.  And Miller looked almost dominant in his two innings.  Marisnick looked quite comfortable at the plate.  They seem to believe he is a lock for the opening day roster.

The San Diego Padres visit Sloan Park tonight.  The game will be on the MLB Network at 8:05 P.M. CDT.  They often use the home team announcers so this may be the first chance for many of us to hear Boog do a Cubs game.

The starters will be Kyle Hendricks and Chris Paddack.

The bases may be green.
