Yep, 16 pitches, 3 strikeouts, and the Cubs win 5 - 1.

That starter didn't do too badly either.

Hopefully, we won't see too much more of Marisnick for Happ.

Arrieta looked good; Kimbrel was painting the corners (though some of those calls could have gone the other way); great game.

At 6:00 into the video we get a shot of the scoreboard and I noticed that the starting pitcher was still in every game going on at that point.  But it turns out that in the Red Sox-Orioles game, at least, starter Houck (#89) had already been lifted.  Are the scoreboard operators just not bothering to tell us about relief pitchers?  Are there so many pitching changes these days that they can't keep up?

Is there any reason to believe Happ (or Pederson, or Heyward) will outperform Marisnick against LHP?  Obviously Marisnick is nothing special but it's not like Ross is spoiled for options.

Happ has a .709 career OPS vs. LHP. Marisnick has a .711 career OPS against LHP. So yeah, I think there's a good chance Happ will be better...they've been the same so far, and Happ is a much, much better hitter overall.

Not from the right side he isn't.

Happ should be playing CF and batting leadoff every day.

Hey Bennett and Tuffy, thanks for the video recap!

That will probably be the best way to watch Cub games this season.
