Is Rizzo still crowding the plate?  What’s his problem, can’t he at least get hit by a pitch?

Now a soft single in front of Heyward so the Pirates have runners on first and third leading off the bottom of the fourth.

A lot of weak contact resulting in weak hits this inning against Arrieta.

Cub uprising so surprising our broadcast team almost missed it

Two out and nobody on is better than two on and nobody out.

As Boog and JD noted early, Arrieta had trouble with his command in early innings but pitched out of trouble and a very nice 6-inning outing.

Things really evened out for him today. It felt like he was getting pretty lucky in the early innings when his command was off. But then he gave up two runs in an inning where he got a lot of weak contact on good pitches and the balls just fell in.

Overall, in his first two starts, he looks a lot better than he ever did with the Phillies the last couple of years.

Why pull Brothers? Four straight outs and K’d 3.
