Like the Cubs are going to get six runs back . . . They might. but if Hendricks pitches another inning just forget it. 

If the Cubs continue to sink (and stink) over the next couple of weeks, it'll be time to do whatever is necessary to prepare for the future without regard for the results this season.  If they play better they can probably buy themselves a another month.

I don’t think you want to rebuild with a lost Hendricks, and he is as lost as you can get.

Problem is when he's throwing like he is now, his value is at a low ebb.  When rag-arm guys lose it they tend to lose it in a hurry.  Not much point in trading Hendricks or Davies in their current form.

You almost feel sorry for the resident organization shills - this team makes their job pretty hard.
