I usually don't care who is the broadcaster, but I don't much care for this guy so far.  Perhaps he will grow on me.

You talking about Boog, Davep?  My wife hates him.  She keeps yelling at the tv, "Shuttup already!"

Hey Bennett, thanks for providing the game wrap videos!  I love watching them (after Cub wins, which are a bit scarce this year).

I've only listened to the new Reds guy on today's highlights but deciding between and Thom is choosing the lesser of two evils.

Pat Hughes does TV play-by-play again while Boog is off doing ESPN Sunday Night Baseball radio.

Boog has grown on me. Listening to him is like sitting with a buddy at the game.  He and Jim pair well together.

I don't like him.  How many times a broadcast does he have to mention "slug"?  I find him very repetitive and he has a creep vibe.

It can't be easy for a broadcaster when the entertainment value of the product you're covering is so low.

My advice to any broadcaster would be to "be himself".   With Boog, every strikeout is now a "punch out" and every hit is a "knock" just as JD invariably says.

Boog is also guilty of a fault common to many others:  Ball number one, strike number two, out number three.  I know one, two, and three are numbers.  Whatever happened to strike one, ball two, and the third out?

And it is now twenty-twenty-one, not two-thousand and twenty-one.
1821 = eighteen twenty-one
1921 = nineteen twenty-one
2021 = twenty-twenty-one.

Wolters just stole home on a throw back to the pitcher after a pitch.

Play under review; it looked to me as if Barnhart assumed that Wolters would just concede the out, since the throw clearly beat him, but Wolters slid under him and beat the tag.

And now review calls him out as his foot was apparently over the plate, rather than on the plate...

Bryant and Rizzo with one run homers as Cubs take the lead 4 - 2 going into bottom 3.  I picture line drives that just keep rising and rising.

Runner rounded the 3B bag too far and tagged out at 3B.
