The forecast is for light rain but the radar shows areas that could be a problem

I guess the agreement with Pederson about starting against LHP has expired.

The Marquee screen on a Cubs telecast is cluttered with way too many logos, tweets, ads, and other crap.

Then there is their ticker.  Every time it goes around we have to see their social media info, upcoming programming, and that they are the exclusive home of the Cubs.

Baez strikes out again leaving two men on to end the inning.  What’s his WAR or whatever the hell it is?

Castro’s homer was fourth Nats batted ball between 108 and 111 EV from 5th inning to Castro in 6th off Davies. Then, Harrison single at 104.

Ross has seen enough.

Bote hits a two-run homer to retake the lead, then Keegan gets a hit and now an error puts runners on first and third with two outs and Bryant up.  Sure would be nice to tack on a few more runs.

Right before the Harrison single, they showed a graphic detailing Davies’ BA, OBP and SLG against for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd times thru the order. The numbers the 3rd time thru were brutal.

Sure is nice to be over .500 again. Let's hope we can stay there for a while.

Winning is more fun, and so is having lots of hits and baserunners.
Not sure how it will last, but having Hoerner getting lots of hits and good at bats is pretty helpful.  Will be interesting to see how long Duffy can remain pretty solid.

Between Steele and Thompson, I have more confidence that Steele will be good over the long haul.  But the Keegan run is really fun while it's rolling.  His diversity of breaking pitches is kind of fun.

I was on ESPN looking at the box score of yesterday’s game and something is off - I know Nico went 3 for 4 with a strikeout, ESPN is saying 2 for 4 with an RBI and no K.  Scrolling down to the homers and doubles etc. it’s showing Duffy with a 3 run homer and Nico with a solo homer.  Of course trying it again the correct stats appeared.  Now if the above happens tonight with Duffy and Hoerner, it will freak me right out.

Arrieta through four, 72 pitches, 2 walks, 5 hits, 3 much earned earned runs, and why did we sign him anyway?

Well to give up another run I guess.  4 runs on, what is it now, 88 pitches?
