I like Ross and I think the players do too, but sometimes his decisions are head scratchers. He has 3 lefties in the bullpen who have proved to be useful: Wieck, Chaffin, and Brothers. Brothers had a bad outing a few days ago when Ross tried to use him for a second inning. So yesterday, with a one run lead, he brings in Morgan, a rookie, who, in my estimation, has not achieved the circle of trust Ross requires. Why? That was a crucial and losing decision.
And the way our free agents are playing, they are hurting their future paychecks with their recent performance and hurting their trade values as well.
Where can you hide Baez in the lineup where he won't kill a crooked number inning?
