Hot Dog Harper scores on a double by McCutchin -  Ross thrown out for arguing balls and strikes -  3 - 2 Phillies.  Bryce Harper is a cancer to the game.

Why?

That’s ridiculous about Harper.

Because I don’t like him, simple as that.  Don’t like his stance at the plate, don’t like his hair, don’t like his stupid head band, don’t like the way he slows the game down, don’t like the way he comes across.  Of course he’s friends with Rizzo.

Adam Morgan had a 6.43 career ERA against the Cubs in 21 innings.

Doesn’t seem like he’s a keeper.

Baez has 6 walks in his last 8 games.  That can't have happened too often.

Seems like Sogard wants to pitch in this game, as his error leads to a blowout score.

Eric Sogard is one of my all time least favorite Cubs. Bad at baseball, and also an anti-vaxxer.

EDIT: He's an anti-vaxxer first, and also bad at baseball. Anti-vaxxer is so much worse than being bad at baseball.

I couldn’t care less about his vaccination opinions…I don’t get him pinch hitting for Wisdom there.

You’re replacing a guy who can put runs on the board with one swing in a tight game with a guy who can’t hit, and downgrading the defense in a tight game on top of that…

Baez is so much better when he goes the other way…

Sogard is getting more work than Maples ever did.

Chirinos, wearing number 29, makes his Cubs debut a full two decades after we signed him as a 17-year-old.

Javy is showing some signs of breaking out.  Would be good timing considering the calendar.

Would like to hear Ross’ explanation. Seems like it would only be a good move in a 2-run game if the AB was leading off the 9th and any kind of reach is as good as a homer to get tying run to plate.

Maybe Wisdom became ill during the game. Other than that, I don’t get it either.
