That seems illogical to me. If you're running (not sliding) and you run over second base and are tagged from behind by the fielder, isn't it a double with you being out trying for a triple? But if you have a double but over-*slide* the base, the moment you get tagged *after oversliding*, your two-base hit turns back into a one-base hit?
Also I see Wesneski just got out of a one-out bases loaded situation to keep the Phillies' lead at 1; nice job.
