I'd add that Cubs may have been the ONLY team that graded Hoerner as a 1st rounder, let alone a 1st-round hitter.
Virtually all the "experts" felt Hoerner lacked power and wouldn't grow into it, so they predicted he would NOT be a 1st-round selection.
Who knows what the future will hold for Schwarber, Happ, Hoerner or others Theo/Jed/Jason have drafted R1, but they all do appear to have some serious upside as hitters.
If we add Baez, Bryant, Contreras (and, possibly, even Russell), there's an abundance of young hitting talent few teams have ever had in their systems...the early 60s Cubs had quite a bit, but not nearly as many as this group of young Cub hitters).
