I believe that it was ArizonaPhil speculated that he might not really pitch until extended spring training.

Orlando Arcia sure has a good vibe going against the Cubs. Hope that doesn't continue into the regular season.

Not shocking, but Chatwood imploding with wildness (and his error) in the 2nd tonight.

Cubs down, 4-0, and Tyler isn't out of the 2nd yet.

Sure glad we have 5 other starters (and Monty)!

People get fooled easily by Spring Training stats. Chatwood has never been a good MLB pitcher, and he'll continue to be bad. 6 spring innings without a walk doesn't change that. He's always walked way too many batters to be good, and he'll continue to walk way too many batters.

Easily the worst signing of the Theo era. Walk rate is more important than spin rate.

"Never been a good pitcher" simply doesn't jibe with the facts, unless you totally discount Coors as a factor.  He was certainly pretty good in 16-17.  He's always walked too many guys, no question, but he still managed to be effective.

I also have a hard time calling a 3-year deal for less than $40 million the worst signing when we saw this winter what an albatross Heyward is around our necks.

Darvish did go 4.2 innings.  Cubs lead 5-2 after 5.  Another game tonight.

Mark this day down. Two doubles for Heyward. He had two extra-base hits in a game twice all of last year.

"Dravish leaves with trainer" certainly led to butt-clenching across Cubdom, and a blister is a lot less scary than other possibilities.  Could still be an issue for the start of the season, though.
