Very unusual for the club committing 4 errors to beat the errorless club by 8 runs.
The Bible says that "love covers over a multitude of sins."
In baseball, I think the same can be said for offense! Offense covers over a multitude of errors! 4 errors, who complains a lot when you're scoring a bunch of runs and winning easily anyway? Chatwood giving up two HR and three runs? Who cares when the offense had scored enough to win anyway? Q wasn't sharp enough to go longer than 6 innings, and place a 3-inning load on the bullpen; who cares when you've scored plenty? Darvish game? Yes, everybody noticed and cared, but still, when you score enough runs to win anyway, it's less problematic. Scoring lots of runs and hitting lots of HRs, and every flaw seems less noticeable.
