He is going to get fined if he wears anything on his uniform that isnt approved by the league

I just hope he's not wearing Michael Turners footprints

Brandon Jacobs made our D look like little boys in that preseason game.  And Turner is 10 times the RB Jacobs is.

So yeah, there's legitimate reason for concern there... especially later in the game when our D gets gassed.

Props to our very own Lance Briggs for forcing the issue on this:

Briggs has been pretty annoying of late, but this one he got right. I hope he has a lights-out game against the Falcons cuz we're gonna need it.

Ain't gonna happen. Finally, some common sense.

Thats good to see. I wonder how many other players follow suit. I wish all the Bears did it in honor of 911

I am not a psychic and no "expert" or anyone else can tell how an NFL game will go.  However when the "experts" who predict defeat for the Bears do not even have the facts straight they are basing their guess on I immediately throw their "analysis" out the window.

These are two good teams and either could win tomorrow.  The Bears have home field advantage and have always kept the Falcons running game in check.  The Falcons won the last two in their stadium by last minute heroics.  I predict the Bears shut down the run and get after Ryan.

The Falcons will have some big plays on offense but will have a hard time getting into the endzone.  I think the Bears come out on top if the Bears O-line can run block like they have been and giove Cutler some protection.  A tall order I know but I like the Bears chances.

Oh I like their chances too. It should be competitive unless the Bears fall behind early and try to play catchup by throwing the ball all over the field. We arent that good. Just run the ball and pass when we have to. Use the run to set up the pass.

If only this was Martz game plan for today I would feel a lot better.  I am worried about Ryan disecting our secondary.  Hopefully he doesnt have enough time to do so.  We shall see.

Do any of these reporters watch the games?  They go on and on about the Bears oline giving up all these sacks.  They talk about 15 sacks in the pre-season and 9 in the Buffalo game alone.

Do they realize Cutler was sacked twice the entire pre-season?  To compare Rodgers was sacked 6 times.

The line looked bad pass blocking the first pre-season game and have looked solid and shown improvement in every game since then.  I am concerned if it will hold true for the regular season but for the reporters to use the pre-season as a reason to think the Bears O-line sucks just does not hold water.
