I hope that Tony Moll guy isn't replacing the guy that replaced Marcus McNeil on Thursday night.  That guy was awful.  I want Peppers to have a shot at him.   ;D

Moll will be right guard.  Dombrowski is the guy that played LT when Mcneil was hurt.

He played there las year about half of the season when McNeil held out and played well.

Hard to say what to expect from him Sunday.

Kameron Wimbley is a really good pass rusher and that could be why Dombrowski looked so bad against the Raiders.  I remember him giving us fits in a preseason game a year or two ago.  He sacked Rivers 4 times last Thursday night but not sure if they were all against Dombrowski.

BTW was anyone else as surprised as me at that injury to McNeil?  The LB (Curry) just gives him a little hump move and bam, down he goes. And then off the field on the cart. That was really weird.

If Wimbley can do that against the Chargers how would Peppers fare? More or less than 4 sacks? If I'm Peppers I gotta be licking my chops and eating plenty of Wheaties on Sunday morning.

Depends on how Peppers' knee feels by then.

Here's the deal... the Chargers may be starting different people at THREE OL positions.  LT, LG and RG. Which means we should be gaming and stunting on the DL all day to confuse the blocking schemes of an OL that hasn't played together as a unit in the first place.

In other words, if we can't unleash hell on Philip Rivers then either our D-Linemen or Marinelli aren't doing their jobs. I expect a very long day for Rivers at Soldier Field on Sunday...  several sacks and at least a couple of picks...  which should position us quite nicely for the win.

It would also be nice if we can give Peppers a little more rest again this Sunday.

If we can bring serious heat on Rivers all day I'll buy-in to Phill's prediction.

But if they somehow find a way to protect him...  if Matthews runs wild... and/or our offense plays as poorly as they did against the Lions...  it will be much closer. 21 points from our D and STs is exceptional and I very much doubt that happens again this year.

LOL.  In WWII the Seabees had a motto "Can Do  but -  the impossible may take a little while".

Peter King predicts 33-13 so Phil is close.  Not feeling the blowout this time like I did against the Lions, I could just smell that.

Bears 27 - Chargers 16

Score is closer than game...

Heck of a note when they fine Bennett more for wearing orange shoes than Bosch for a late hit on Forte..

Will he do it again?

Like Jimmy Mac and his headbands?

Rozelle wasn't against the headbands - he was against the advertising on the headbands.  McMahon kept the headbands for the Super Bowl but put all sorts of non-commercial writing on them (i.e.  JDF, Rozelle, and another one for his buddy the WR Koslowski?) - which didn't draw the fine.

Bennett just needs to get the entire team to switch to the orange cleets
