I am not going to let this game ruin a great season. They put up a tough fight. NY is now 4-1 since their bye week?  They have been playing good ball lately.

True, but the Bears need to take care of business or there still is still a possibility they'll miss out on the playoffs and be watching from home...

While I am disappointed that we had a chance to gain some ground today, the good thing is we didnt lose any ground as the Queens and Pack both lost.

That and there weren't any serious injuries, right?  Plus Trubisky is coming back.

It definitely would as I had counted that as most likely a loss and still think that is most likely a loss. A win against the Rams I would class as a major upset.

I kept waiting for a Giants’ safety to try to intercept one of those wheel routes they kept allowing to Coen...

I kept waiting (and I bet I'm not the only one) for a late pick 6 or a strip, scoop, and score by the Bears defense...

Of course you can't depend on stuff like that, but it sure was a major factor the last couple games prior.

Exactly... I just knew it was going to happen.. Just never did..

Manning had too much time.. And Daniel was rushing the whole game..

That's why I was worried about this game.  Bears offense is not a juggernaut by any means.  In fact, the last 2 wins were decided by defensive scores.

The offense did put up 27 but in today's NFL you can't always count on your defense to totally shut down opponents and certainly can't expect them to score points.

Daniel almost pulled it out - made a lot of plays, but not enough to overcome his own errors.

As for the defense 30 is a lot to give up.  But if you take away the 3 in OT, the 7 when they weren't on the field, and another 3 (I believe) after Gabriel fumbles deep in Bears' territory...that's 17 points which in today's NFL is damn good.

And as I rightfully said last week and I doubt anybody recalls it I said that now there is tape on Daniel. The cat was out of the bag. No surprises. The Ji Ants were ready and waiting for Daniel.

Daniel is a career backup with virtually no starting experience in his entire career aside from the Detroit game.  Plus he's short, doesn't possess Trubisky's big arm or his escapability athleticism.

You can't expect a 100 rating game out of Daniel 2 weeks in a row - but you do expect a QB to at least catch the damn snap.
