It's a playoff game - the Bears will be facing a playoff team.  It ain't going to be easy no matter the opponent (well maybe except for the Vikings).

The Eagles are pretty much the same team that won the Super Bow with the exception of their defensive backfield where they may be starting 3 backups...one of which may be ex-Bear Crevon LeBlanc.  A fiesty slot guy with little deep speed....he can be beat deep.

Eagles are playing down Foles injured ribs...heh heh.

A couple crunches and foles will have trouble breathing much less throwing a ball. I see these guys getting better and better. Look, even if they lose its been a much better year than I thought
it would be.

Anything ribs is painful and hard to recover from. You can have trouble breathing. The guy could not return to the game.

He had a full practice today and thinks he's fine.

Untill he takes a couple of hard hits by Hicks and Mack that is.  Then I doubt he'll be throwing many long passes.

I HATE Eagles fans.

Unless Pederson has something new up his sleeve, the Eagles are who they are with Foles.  No running game, which plays to our strength.  Abandon the run and let our front 7 batter your offensive line and push them back into Foles.  Hold the ball 2.5 ticks to allow the deep pass to develop and feel the pressure.  I know this is the Eagles and I know they beat us last year and are the returning champs and Foles is the wonderboy… but not this year.  The Giants beat us with a solid running attack, a pick 6, and a trick play.  The Dolphins beat us with a running attack, spreading the defense out, and withering heat.  Green Bay and New England beat us before we knew who we were.

The Eagles march was all in Philly last year.  The Eagles are on the road, and Soldier will be rocking.  I honestly feel we are going to steamroll the Eagles and take it on the road to LA.

I would have agreed with you a month ago.  But TBH if the Bears are not prepping for the Rams on Monday, I will be royally pissed.  I expect a win and it will not depend on a late f*cking FG attempt by Sparky.

They need to hit Foles early and often and very HARD.  Is Foles better than Cousins?  Maybe, but Cousins was crapping his pants and afraid in that last game.  We need to make sure Foles ends up the same way.

Miller is a badass...

Miller acknowledged his left shoulder completely dislocated during Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

“The shoulder came all the way out, so I had to pop it back in,” he said. “I’ve had to do that on numerous occasions this season.”

That’s a good indication Miller will have postseason surgery to stabilize his shoulder. For now, though, he’ll continue to wear the harness he has worn most of his rookie season.

“It’s not going to do anything different from what I’ve been doing,” he said. “I haven’t been 100 percent all season. I’ve still been managing to make plays and do my part for the team. That’s what I’m going to continue to try to do."

The Pats beat us on a blocked punt and 90+ yard kick off return.  The Pack beat us because Rodgers...was who we thought he was and we let him off the hook!

Ain't that the truth. Two very winnable games..

Power rankings have us at #2 for a reason. We have a good team. Can we be beat? Anyone can be beat on any given day. Eagles are tough.. My bet is we're tougher.. Eagles have good wideouts, but can their O line handle our D line? That's the question.. And Pederson's no dumbass.. Though I will say. As the season has progressed, so has Nagy..

Something else. You know all these gimicky plays that Nagy tries and we all **** about? I'd be willing to bet that somewhere that is going to payoff big. Although I would rather not see us try some of that ****.. LOL

Run Howard, pound the ball. Give me a 26 play drive for a touchdown leaving Foles on the bench to watch. Eagles have the 23rd rank defense. We just beat a top 5 D.

Grizz do you think maybe we lost to the Giants because Chase Daniels was QB more than their run game. That  friggin guy has no where with all to sense pressure or the athleticism to escape and extend the play and make positive yardage. With Trubisky we would have beat the Giants hands down. With the 4 losses we sustained we lost by a total of 14 pts and two of those were in OT. and the Pats 7pt. win was nearly overcome by a last second hail mary. I would say this team has risen to the top of the league. I don't see any team we can't beat if healthy. I won't say we'll win it all, but,no one better take us lightly at their own peril. I'll predict a fairly low scoring victory this week against the Eagles in the line of 17 - 10. There I said it and I'm glad!

We lost the Giants game because Daniel was rattled - the Giants DC said we had film on him after his first game and we knew how to rattle him.

We actually could have won every game this season....GB game. Miami game the NFL and Miami made the Bears stand on the sidelines in in 105 degree heat. The New England game we had kickoff return against us for a TD - you F-ing kicker can't kick it into the endzone? Plus that same game we had a blocked punt for a TD

I agree beerfan. We could just as easily be 16-0. I'll say early on we lost to GB because we lacked a culture of winning. Do not take your foot off the throat of your beaten opponent. I think now maybe the team and Nagy understands that. Play to win not to lose. It never worked for us before. The only thing prevent strategy prevents is a victory. Go Bears!
