Guys, it's 4-0.  Complaining about managerial moves is **** ridiculous.

Four runs is a week's worth for this team.

At least we're playing close, tense games.  This team could be getting blown out 10-0 every night.

On the other hand, this team could have about 8 wins by now...but stupid managing and sloppy play have them at 4-9.

Schierholtz: 1-1, double.

Hairston/Sappelt: 0-7, 2 K.

Please, quit the strict platoon.

One other thought after watching yesterday's game, why didn't we try to bring Jeff Baker back this offseason?  He only signed with Texas on a minor league deal, so he definitely could have been had.

Again, another piddly complaint that wouldn't exactly have made much of a difference on a 4-9 team, but watching the likes of Lillibridge and Gonzalez in our "platoon" lineup is pretty frustrating.  The front office definitely could have done better in that regard.

Nashville at Iowa has already been postponed.

The Cubs will probably wait as long as they can to make a decision, because tomorrow's forecast looks at least as bad...maybe worse.  If there's any chance of a window that will allow them to get 5+ innings in tonight, they'll try to get it in.

Game postponed.  Doesn't look good for tomorrow either, so they'll probably be scheduling a double header on an off day at some point.

Rangers are at Milwaukee May 8. #Cubs host Cards that day. May 9 is common off-day for Cubs and Rangers. One possibility for makeup

Yet another problem with these interleague games; you have to find a mutual off-day.

But it's still better than having 16 teams in one league and 14 in the other.

Yeah, but that's been the case for non-divisional NL opponents for a few years too.  Only other teams in the division come to Chicago more than once.
