Irregardless with how much it costs to replace Leno, he absolutely needs to go. This is glaring hole numero uno that needs repaired. Fixing him alone will help the team. Heard a stat today about Patterson, that he's like the number one running back when it comes to ypc or something? Heard it listening to Arkush on the Score. They were saying it's unfathomable they weren't using him at back and at wideout. He hated the idea of him at TE, though, which I disagree with. I think he could be used successfully there at times. But the point that was made was that Nagy has a huge weapon he is not using correctly. What-a-surprise, huh. We've seen this with other coaches we've had. We could have some 'hole fixers' being used improperly or sitting. What's with Ridley just now finally getting some time? Nagy is a bozo....

I'm just getting a chance to watch the 4th quarter.  On that strip sack, it almost was like Leno was doing everything possible to not block his guy.  I've never seen a lineman do consistently ineffective.

At the end of the first quarter with the Bears at the Vikings 9 yard line Lucas blows his blocking assignment, lets his guy go & blocks a guy the right guard was already blocking. Sack, Bears settle for 3.

At least Coward was benched today.

These guys truly are like the electronic vibrating linemen. Turn it on, they go who knows where. I agree with Oct in that in more than one game we've seen these linemen act like they're blocking air while their guy gets to the QB. How is this possible on a supposed NFL team??? And how can it still be a issue in the last game of the season??? Everyone involved with the Oline from coaches to players needs to go.....how can they not as bad as they are??

Bring in Bill Callahan as O-line coach when the Redskins announce he is not coming back next year.  Have him lure Trent Williams.  Bring in Pat Schurmur as OC when the Giants let him go.

That would be nice if it were possible.

If we had a turnstyle at LT at least it would provide momentary delay before the eventual sack.  Leno doesnt even do that.  Regardless the cost he needs to go.

The first response is to can the OLine coach. Without that we are hopeless. He has to go. He is the key to the problem. Even Long would be an improvement.

The turnaround in Leno was amazing.  Last year he was, at worst, an adequate offensive tackle.  This year he was one of the worst I have seen in years.  He is not old enough to have that much of a decline in performance in a single year.  In my opinion, there can only be two possibilities.

1. He has been injured all year.  But there is absolutely no indication that his performance is the result of injury.

2. His coaching has been horrible.  If he has been adequate in the past, and is not injured, then the coach must not be getting the performance out of him that is necessary.

He may not be smart enough to run the scheme that Nagy wants run.  How many times have we seen the tape where he is just standing around or blocking his own teammate or lets a rusher go right by him.  Then again, most of the guys on the OL have done the same thing.  I am going with coaching and scheme.  Which is sad as Hiestand was a college OL coach with a good resume.

Well Hiestand is gone. Leno should snap out of his problem now.

I can’t pick against Mahommes.

Maybe the 9ers DL rush will keep him in check
