ESPN talking heads are criticizing Trubisky's game.

He was awful tonight.  6 incomplete passes....1 pick.

BTW he did complete 80% of his passes with a 116 rating.

I'll take it.

It was solid, but still frustrating...missing badly on wide open receivers and zeroing in on one target most plays...

The guy bitching about him was a Redskins fan.  The other guy I have no clue who he is.

Could Trubisky do better?  Absolutely but he did pretty well.

Am I still concerned about the offense?  Yes.  Am I feeling better about it and Trubisky? Yes.

Well a win is a win. Offense didnt look good at all. Yeah we scored 31 pts, I know. And Sunday we face the Queens. We better beat them at home, but we havent won at home this year.

Bears have the toughest remaining schedule by far of any team in the league: .692 opponents win%.

Definitely a step forward for Mitch and the offense but still very sloppy.
Finally Nagy was able to scheme some open receivers but it's still alarming how many Mitch either didn't throw to or missed.

Once he under threw Robinson in the end zone it was obvious to me there's a confidence issue.  You tend to short arm the throw or over compensate and throw too long when you're spooked.
We'll see if time takes care of that.

Our run game is still pathetic.  I think Trubisky would be somewhat better if they were getting 5 yards on first down instead of two.  Long is hurt and we had the rookie Lukas for Massie.  Lucas overall played surprisingly well.
Cohen's gotten nothing so far this year.

Pagano is going to give me a heart attack with his 4th quarter defenses but I guess you can't argue with the results.

WML, how is the wife doing?

She said I didn’t have to be such an ass when we scored the pick six. It went downhill from there. :)

A win is a win.  However that Redskins team is bad, really bad.  Not sure I am feeling real great about the Bears this year.  We absolutely have a solid D, but our OL and QB are bad.

For a safety who has a built a reputation of getting picks, I am shocked that was Ha Ha's first defensive TD since "little league" pee wee.

"Definitely a step forward for Mitch and the offense but still very sloppy."

I disagree. If you want to call a step a step it would have to be baby's first step which is fragile and trepidacious. If it werent for the defensive turnovers we wouldnt have won. Thats not what I call a step forward. Mitch wasnt Kalil Mack. And if it doesnt improve to last years level of play by Sunday they will regress to 0-2 at home which isnt going to thrill the home fan base.

That was/is a bad Washington football team. qb still needs to run more. that Patterson guy in the backfield aint howard. Its football. clever only goes so far, you still gotta smash the other guy
more than he smashes you. Redskins shouldn't ever been in that game. If the bear doesn't start running better gonna lose more than win I'm afraid.
